熟悉中国艺术史的人都知道“西园雅集”的典故，王诜请李公麟作《西园雅集图》，将自己和友人苏轼、苏辙、黄鲁直、秦观、李公麟、米芾等在府中作客聚会的情景描绘下来；米芾则作《西园雅集图记》：“……自东坡而下，凡十有六人，以文章议论，博学辨识，英辞妙墨，好古多闻，雄豪绝俗之资，高僧羽流之杰，卓然高致?，名动四夷，后之览者，不独图画之可观，亦足仿佛其人耳！”。后人心向往之，纷纷摹绘《西园雅集图》，马远、刘松年、赵孟頫、唐寅、原济等都曾画过此类题材，“西园雅集”成了绘画史的研究对象。

     The person who is familiar with Chinese art history knows the literary quotation of "Refined Scholars Gathered in West Garden" which is related to one story that Wang Shen invited Li Gonglin creat " Picture of Refined Scholars Gathered in West Garden" for describing the scene of he together with his friends Su Shi, Su Zhe, Huang Luzhi, Qin Guan, Li Gonglin, Mi Fu and other guests gathered at his mansion. In “Note for Picture of Refined Scholars Gathered in West Garden” which Mi Fu wrote down:"From Dongpo, there were 16 persons arguing about the article with wise language and wonderful ink. They are so erudite and discerning, tower above the rest with heroic posture, outstanding and elegant, famous among the surrounding nationality. The person who view the pictures can touch the sufficient atmosphere at the time!” later generation longing for it and have traced the " Picture of Refined Scholars Gathered in West Garden”. Of which, Ma Yuan, Liu Songnian, Zhao Mengfu, Tang Yin, Yuan Ji all have painted such a theme. " Refined Scholars Gathered in West Garden” then has become the object of history of painting.

 

      宏艺术中心常有艺术家聚会，故此次展览称为“宏境雅集”。云“雅集”者，实不敢妄称雅士名流，只是表达对宋代先贤的景仰，表达对艺术史的尊重。参加“宏境雅集”的艺术家有王明贤、冉珏、李广平、汤松、张勇华、坎勒、杨培江、洪浩昌等，他们是中国当代艺术史上一批注重学术探索的艺术家，热衷新的图式语言的实验，画面简单而又丰富，具有特殊的魅力，作品像是自由空间的梦幻之境，呈现新鲜活泼的意象，创造了文化上的“另一个”世界。

      Hong Art Center always gather the artists to meet, so the exhibition is called " Grand View, Grace Collection ", means " Refined Scholars Gathering " but we do not really claim ourselves as the elegant celebrity, but to express the respect and admire to the Song dynasty’s sage and the art history. The artists who participate in " Grand View, Grace Collection " are Wang Xianming, Ran Jue, Li Guangping, Tang Song, Zhang Yonghua, Kan Le, Yang Peijiang, Hong Haochang etc., they are a group of artists who pay much attention on the academic exploring in the history of Chinese contemporary art,have big enthusiasm on experiment of drawing a new schema language with simple but rich screen and special charm. Artworks like a dream of free-space of thought, presenting fresh and lively images, creating a cultural "other" world.
